Editing a podcast without uploading it

Rescript treats audio as a first-class case rather than video with the picture missing. Drop in an MP3, WAV, or M4A and the transcript takes the full width. Whisper transcribes on-device, pyannote labels each speaker, and you cut by deleting text — plus one-click removal of every filler and every pause over 0.3 seconds.

Export is M4A, MP3, or WAV, plus a clean transcript as TXT or Markdown with speaker turns and cuts already removed — most of a show-notes draft. No upload, so a two-hour episode doesn't start with a two-hour wait.

Revoice versus Regenerate
